A burn is a fact. What does it establish?
Engy added a new buy-and-burn. Lium’s receipt reveals a purchase our wallet-trade feed missed. Here is what changed, how the figures reconcile, and what we still cannot infer.
This is a dated example for two selected subnets, not a live feed or a personal watchlist. Transaction observations are dated individually. Emissions were sampled at 13:21 UTC on 13 September.
SN53 · Engy
What changed: at 09:49 UTC on 13 September, transaction 9057890-0003 spent 45.15 TAO buying 1,758.685931387 alpha, which it immediately burned. Matched StakeAdded, AlphaBurned and AddStakeBurn events corroborate the amounts and a successful dispatch.
Why it matters: this happened after our morning burn scan at 07:24:44 UTC. A fresh collection label did not mean the site included this later transaction. Its signer also differs from the owner wallet in our trade snapshot; zero purchases in that wallet feed did not mean zero subnet buy-and-burn activity.
Evidence status: indexed on-chain observation. The receipt confirms execution; revenue funding and team attribution are not established by these events.
Why our total differed from Engy’s dashboard
At the comparison captured around 12:13 UTC, Engy’s team dashboard reported cumulative burns of 7,688.28 alpha. Our headline covered a rolling 30-day window and an earlier collection cutoff.
| Measurement | Alpha | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Engy dashboard | 7,688.28 | Team-reported cumulative total |
| Older dashboard entries | −1,231.98 | 12–13 August, outside our rolling window |
| Comparable rounded amount | 6,456.30 | Cumulative less older entries |
| Our captured rolling total | 4,697.610015082 | Earlier burn-index cutoff |
| Newly verified burn | +1,758.685931387 | 13 September, 09:49 UTC |
| Rolling total including that burn | 6,456.295946469 | Reconciles to 6,456.30 when rounded |
Evidence status: reconciled at displayed alpha precision for this captured comparison, assuming no other new events. Engy’s individually rounded rows sum to 7,688.27; the 0.01 difference from its headline is consistent with row-versus-total rounding. The 30-calendar-day chart starts on 15 August, while the rolling headline also contains the 14 August evening burn. These are different boundaries.
Our captured 119.883491439 TAO burn value uses the latest panel price on the earlier rolling total. Engy’s reported $49,501.65 is cumulative USD value. We have not reconciled its historical USD conversion method. Neither valuation is the 45.15 TAO execution input for the new operation.

SN51 · Lium
What changed in our evidence: the burn was already indexed, but the trade-derived purchase total missed the purchase side. At 22:24:12 UTC on 9 September, transaction 9032919-0005 spent 3,737.692829331 TAO and burned 40,737.931337683 alpha. This is a correction in measurement coverage, not a new transaction on 13 September.
Why it matters: the executing signer matches the tracked owner wallet here. The gap is in the separate trade feed, so expanding the wallet list alone would not fix it. The purchase input and price-valued burn are two views of one operation; adding them would overstate unique expenditure.
Evidence status: indexed on-chain observation. The matched receipt supports the purchase and burn amounts. It does not independently establish customer revenue, earned revenue or profitability.

Emissions: observed status, with coverage limits
At finalized block 9,058,948 (13:21 UTC), TAO emissions were enabled for both subnets. Lium received 0.065957259 TAO and Engy 0.016810857 TAO in that sampled block, including pool TAO and executed chain buys. These are single-block observations, not daily totals or guaranteed future payments.
The seven-day switch-history query returned no recorded switch changes for either subnet. Continuous indexing covered blocks 9,022,219–9,058,939; earlier history was sampled and can miss short-lived changes. That does not establish uninterrupted status across every block of the requested seven days. Inspect current coverage →
What to take into your next review
- Check whether a new receipt occurred after the headline’s source cutoff.
- Compare the same window and units before treating two dashboards as contradictory.
- Separate executed token purchases from claims about who funded them and why.
We are testing this broader review format alongside our existing Pro daily burn feed, watchlists, history and CSVs. It is not yet an additional automated email feature.

Published 13 September 2026. This review corrects the inference that zero tracked-wallet purchases establishes no buy-and-burn, and distinguishes Lium’s same-owner feed gap from Engy’s different-signer gap. Full measurement method.
