What this is. A computation tool. It reads the chain record of a coldkey you give it, applies the method published at /tax/method, and returns the figures with every gap it cannot fill stated. Its output is a computation, not a return, and not advice.
What it is not. Not tax advice, not legal advice, not a review by a tax professional, and not a filing service. The method takes positions on questions HMRC has not settled and says where. You, or your adviser, decide what goes on your return.
Inputs. The chain cannot see what your TAO cost or what you did on an exchange. Figures depend on what you supply for those; the pack states the effect of not supplying them.
Delivery. Packs are emailed within 48 hours of payment for the accountant and UK packs. The US pack is a pre-order and ships 15 October 2026.
Refunds. 30-day money-back on every pack, no reason needed: reply to the delivery email.
Retention. The coldkey history fetched or uploaded to build your pack is deleted 30 days after delivery. We keep the order record (email, coldkey, what was bought, when) and nothing else about you. Payment is by Stripe; sending by Resend; neither is given more than the job needs. The free check stores an email only if you enter one.
Feed. Every pack includes one month of the Subnet Metrics daily feed, free, then nothing unless you subscribe.
Your responsibility. The pack gives you figures under a stated method. Whether they go on your return, and in which boxes, is your decision or your adviser's. Check them before you file: the first page of every pack says so, and the pack lists the positions it takes and how confident each one is.
Liability. If a pack is wrong, your remedy is the price you paid, refunded on request, and that is the limit of our liability to you. We accept no liability for any loss that follows from using the figures, including tax penalties, interest, tax over- or underpaid, an adviser's fees, or figures filed without review. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing removes your statutory rights as a consumer, which for digital content are a repair, a replacement or a price reduction; the refund above is more than those.
Cancellation. Building your pack starts when you pay and you ask us to start at once; the 14-day cooling-off right for digital content ends when supply begins, and the 30-day refund above replaces it.
